The 7.2 Acre Nature Preserve is a combination of wetlands, grasslands and seasonal shallow pools of water. The man-made Nature Preserve at Village on the Glen not only provides homeowners with increased wildlife habitat to view and enjoy, but also is crucial to many wildlife species. In Oregon and Washington much of our original wetlands have been lost due to urban growth and agricultural needs. Our community strives to foster a positive relationship with wildlife by creating more of the habitat they thrive in. A nature trail surrounds the preserve and is perfect for birdwatching, walking, and botanical activities.
You can access the Nature Preserve at two locations. The first is framed by an arbor style entrance along NE 104th Way, just inside the community past the main monument signage. The second is located at the Community Park in phase II, near the intersection of NE 107th Street and NE 68th Avenue.
